Shortcut on you desktop?

If you would like a shortcut to 'WVNET500' on your desktop, simply right click on the 'WVNET500' icon and select 'Create Shortcut', then click 'Yes'.

Will this automatically dial in for me?

If you wish to make 'WVNET500' your main dial-up connection so that other programs (IE, Netscape, Eudora, etc) automatically dial it instead of the old number, see the following instructions:

We ask that you start using the 'WVNET500' connection as your main connection and only use the old 'WVNET' connection if you can't get the new one to work.

If you would like a shortcut to 'WVNET500' on your desktop, simply right click on the 'WVNET500' icon and select 'Create Shortcut', then click 'Yes'.

If you wish to make 'WVNET500' your main dial-up connection so that other programs (IE, Netscape, Eudora, etc) automatically dial it instead of the old number, perform the following.

Making 'WVNET500' your default connection for all your internet applications:

Go to the 'Control Panel' and open up 'Internet' or 'Internet Properties'.

The look of this window will vary depending on what version of Windows you're running and what version of Internet Explorer you have installed.

Basically, you'll see options like 'connect to the internet as needed' and you should be able to select which connection to dial by default. You will already have the 'WVNET' icon selected as your default connection. Simply make 'WVNET500' your default connection.

That's it!
